This research was conducted in March-

May 2023 in Teluk Betung District East,
Bandar Lampung. Subdistrict This border

1. The population was selected from the community who use well water for daily needs in East Teluk
Betung District, Bandar Lampung City, with the number population of around 49,554 people based
on sectoral statistics for 2022.
2. Sample a total of 100 people were selected using random sampling techniques and criteria aged
30 - 60 years, involving men and women.
3. Selection of respondent scarried out through the snowball sampling method.
4. Water sampling wells using a purposive sampling method, with a choice of location and type wells
that meet the criteria.
5. The data collection process involves interviews directly with the community using questionnaires
and examinations laboratory to measure Fe and Mn levels in well water samples.
6. Data analysis includes descriptive tabulation of laboratory results, validity and reliability test son
questionnaire data.
7. Analysis of the relationship between well and personal water quality hygiene using the Spearman
correlation test.

3.3 Parameter Mn Water Well Subdistrict Teluk Betung Timur

Mn parameter are as big 0.1 mg/L. Concentration manganese
at all points exceeds the quality standard limit of 0.1 mg/L.

of manganese (0.15 mg/L), possibly influenced by sewage

3.4 Result Test Validity and Reliability

In this study, the critical value of r table for

degrees of freedom (DF) is 98 and the probability
of 0.05 is 0.196. If the correlation value (r)
between the item score and the total score on the
validity test is greater than 0.196, then questions
are considered valid and relevant to the research
objectives.
Analysis results shows that the resulting reliability
coefficient value is 0.589. This value exceeds the
predetermined r table value threshold, namely
0.194. Because of that, It can be concluded that all
the question items in this research questionnaire
can be considered to have an adequate level of
reliability.
