SCHOOL

both inside and outside the classroom shaping a student's
overall experience. Let's explore what teenage life can entail
in these two settings: Inside the Classroom Teenagers spend a
significant portion of their time in classrooms, engaging in
various academic pursuits. They attend classes, listen to
lectures, participate in discussions, and complete assignments
and exams.
Outside the classroom, teenagers interact with their peers in a
more informal and relaxed setting. They hang out with friends
and participate in social events

being moody, sleeping late, mobile
gazing are often just dismissed as 'a teenage
thing'. Even the word 'teenager' can feel
problematic at times. And it shouldn't. We

TEENAGERS MIND

In calm situations, teenagers can rationalize

almost as well as adults but they think
differently Because the prefrontal cortex is still
developing, teenagers might rely on a part of the
brain called the amygdala to make decisions and
solve problems more than adults do. The
amygdala is associated with emotions, impulses,
aggression and instinctive behavior.
TEENAGERS ROLE
MODELS

Teenagers have different interests and based on

these interests they will choose their role models A
teen might look up to a famous athlete because they
want to become a professional ballplayer when they
grow up. They may choose a famous movie star
because they aspire to have a similar status and
lifestyle.
