setting priorities, and ensuring that the nursing staff works cohesively.
3.Skills: Leadership skills for nurses include effective communication,
critical thinking, problem-solving, and the ability to motivate and
inspire their team.
Nursing Management:
1.Definition: Nursing management refers to the administrative and
organizational aspects of nursing care. Nurse managers oversee the
daily operations of a healthcare unit.
2.Roles: Nurse managers are responsible for staffing, budgeting, quality
assurance, and ensuring that the unit runs efficiently.
3.Skills: Nurse managers need skills in budgeting, human resource
management, conflict resolution, and decision-making. They also need
clinical expertise to understand the needs of patients and staff.
A nurse leader plays a critical role in guiding and influencing the nursing team to
