The document summarizes a mini project on using machine learning algorithms to analyze and predict breast cancer. The objectives are to perform exploratory data analysis on a breast cancer dataset and use supervised learning models like logistic regression, decision trees, random forests, and support vector machines for prediction. The proposed method achieves 98.5% accuracy, higher than existing techniques that are prone to errors. The applications include early detection, survival prediction, and public health surveillance. The project was conducted by undergraduate students under faculty guidance to fulfill their industry-oriented mini project requirements.

College, Hyderabad 2 MOTIVATION • We observe cancer incidence and mortality have been increasing at an accelerated pace over the past 3 decades globally.
•It is observed that among females, breast cancer is
known as the most diagnosed cancer and the main cause of cancer deaths in more than 100 countries. RATIONALE(Software requirements) • We use Machine Learning algorithm for prediction also packages like Python scikit- learn and Random Forest.
• Using supervised learning model in machine
learning algorithm OBJECTIVE • The objective of the project is Exploratory Data Analysis(EDA) which is used to analyze and investigate data sets and summarize their characteristics. ABSTRACT •In 2018, there are about 2.1 million newly diagnosed breast cancer cases around the world responsible for nearly 1 in 4 cancer cases among females. • However, the causes of breast cancer are still not clearly known to doctors. Early diagnosis of breast cancer can make the disease easier to treat. • Several diagnosis techniques are commonly used to distinguish malignant breast tumors from benign ones. • Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA) is a well-known procedure used to diagnose breast cancer, but it suffers from a lack of satisfactory diagnosis performance. • Also, there is higher possibility to give rise to errors due to exhaustion or inexperience, which panic patients when false-positive result happens or miss optimum treatment time when false-negative result appears. • Therefore, developing an efficient diagnosis support system to assist doctors for the diagnosis of cancer has great significance for the medical diagnosis process. EXISTING METHOD / LITERATURE SURVEY • The Dataset contains the samples of breast cancer tumors and features. The dataset is divided into two classes: malignant(cancerous) and benign(non-cancerous) tumors. The dataset is loaded into program using the pandas library. DRAWBACKS OF EXISTING METHOD • However, the causes of breast cancer are still not clearly known to doctors. • Early diagnosis of breast cancer make the disease easier to treat. several diagnosis techniques are commonly used to distinguish malignant breast tumors from benign ones. • There is higher possibility to give rise to errors due to exhaustion or inexperience, which panic patients when false-positive results happens or miss optimum treatment time when false-negative result appears. PROPOSED METHOD • In this project, we use four machine learning algorithms to predict the diagnosis of breast cancer: Logistic Regression, Decision Tree Classifier, Random Forest Classifier, and Support Vector Classifier.
• Random Forest Classifier Method, its accuracy is
slightly lower with 0.959064. APPLICATIONS
Early Detection
Survival Prediction
Public Health Surveillance
OUTPUT
• By Using the above Proposed Method ,This
exertion is projected and ensemble voting ML technique for analysis breast cancer. And we can see the suggested strategy has acquired 98.50% precision.
