us?
• Hail affects us because
it destroys buildings it
can destroy cars it can
cause injury to human
it can even kill you and
it destroys crops
How is hail
formed
• Initially, hail starts as
water droplets that
come from clouds. The
droplets are subjected to
freezing temperatures as
they rise, thus becoming
super cooled.
Types of hail
• Soft hail: white opaque ussually
round or ocasionally conical and
snow like in appearence

• mall hail:
resembles soft hail in size and shap
e but has a thin layer of ice
