‘TKAM revision’

Learning Objective: to explore how to revise

effectively.
Starter: why should you be thinking about revising
already?

How do you revise for Literature?

Progress measure:
Success Criteria: 1. 1.
I can make basic notes using the Cornell method.
I can ask effective questions using the Cornell method. 2. 2.
I can independently take full and effective notes using the Cornell method. 3. 3.
Every two weeks you will have a lesson on TKAM, as follows:

Lesson 1 – how to revise TKAM effectively

Lesson 2 – how to respond to a TKAM exam question and planning
Lesson 3- TKAM assessment – you will be assessed on the question you explored in the previous lesson and
will have time to prepare for it as homework in the two weeks prior. You will only be able to look at your plan
in the assessment, not full written paragraphs or devices.
How can I make useful notes to help with my revision?

I would recommend the Cornell note taking method, information can be found here:

Set your page out as described in the above video – this is a great way to take notes for your revision and you
can do this with TKAM, AIC and the poems we will study.
