Anthropology
The term Anthropology originates
from two Greek terms, anthropos
which mean "man/humankind" and
logos meaning "study".
Nature
Anthropology is the study of humans,
their close relatives and their cultural
environment. Subfields of anthropology
deal with hominin evolution and the
comparative study of extant and past Nat u re
cultures.
Goal
The goal of anthropology is to pursue
a holistic understanding of what it
means to be human by understanding
the relationship between human
biology, language, and culture.
