● Section 1 - A conversation between
two people about a general topic

monologue on a general topic

context

Examples of how the tasks will look like
Important things to note
Make sure to:
- Read instructions carefully
- Read the questions and identify what is actually being asked
- Pay attention to keywords in the options and think of any synonyms that might
appear
- Listen carefully to the listening text before choosing the answer; but don’t spend too
much time on one question
- Keeps practicing!

Part 2 Topic.
● Each person should choose ONE topic ONLY from topic cards on slide 11-13
● If one person speaks, the other should help with the timer.
● As you listen to your partner’s talk, time them and see if they have covered everything on this
checklist.
