 ABSTRACT
• Student(clients) Entys in higher education institutions is a factor
that impacts academic performance.

• Most universities, however, have not implemented an automated

attendance-taking system to deter poor attendance, leaving the task
instead to instructors who manually record students’ attendances
into the system; a time-consuming and tedious undertaking,
particularly, with a large number of students.

• And as we know QR Code has a wide range of applications in this

evolving tech world.
• QR code used to store massive information in a smaller space.

• So we decide to use QR code in our system and proposed smart

attendance system using QR code.

• When client scan this QR code, automatically attendance(Entry)

will be marked according to the user id.

FEATURES OF PROPOSED SYSTEM

• The features (functionalities) of proposed system with their short description

are as follows :

• Client able to make there Entry through scanning QR code provided by the
faculty(owner) for particular session.

• Client(User) will be able to see there overall performance status on the website.

• Managers will be able to record and update the status of childrens as per there
academic Performance

• This System Save the time and it also Save the Wastege of Pages.

• The Project Process is Execute in Short Time(Quickly).

 LIMITATION OF PROPOSED SYSTEMM
• Not very aesthetic, it contains random patterns of square boxes
which might not look pleasing on products, unlike 1-d barcodes.
• Demands a high maintenance To access the information using QR
codes we need to connect the devices with the internet that requires
a little maintenance. Not everyone is available with an internet
connection or free wifi all the time to access the information. So,
being friendly to this technology might cost much to the people in
general.
• User cannot register themselves
• Your device requires with a webcam which makes it costly for the
common users to afford.
 LIMITATION OF PROPOSED
SYSTEM

• No secure connection on code generator server as secure

connection requires a verified domain to get an SSL license.

DESCRIPTION

• The Users with their role description are as follows:

students and teachers .

QR code for a particular session ,lecture . This will help to create an
organised data of attendance for faculty in a quick and easy manner.

• The role of student in this system would be to scan the QR code for
marking their attendance system in the system which will create their
entry of attendance in the records of Admin.

1. The application or web application aims on digitizing the process of taking

attendance across colleges, thus eliminating the manual process of taking
attendance.
2. This provides the university with an efficient automated alternative to
expensive attendance management systems being developed and
implemented.
3. This Web site gives a much more comfortable and user friendly experience
to the student,client(new User) as well as the faculty to conserve their time
and energy thus resulting in a better experience.
4. The value that This website will add to the users is the overall structure of
time value to the normal functioning of lectures and also, be identified as
adopters of digital technologies.
5. The future scope of the project is enormous as to collaborating it into a
learning management system and developing a complete experience for the
university.
