& team at Aliya Bags Malayappan Street

27 Children and 2 adolescents


were rescued of which

Nepal

Rs 8,70,000 Rehab Fund has been disbursed, 28


were repatriated to Sitamarhi, Bihar. 7 children were
admitted to school based on my
correspondences addressed to Sitamarhi Collectorate,
Dept of Social Defence, CWC & DCPO

Police has arrested the employer and his


brother for bonded labour and trafficking of
children from Bihar to be employed at bag
stitching units
11/07/2023 – Inspection by ACL –I (E)
Chennai & team along with Chennai
DTF joint inspection at a Bag stitching
unit in Hazarath street, Mannady.

Jewellery making unit in Reddy Raman
street, Sowcarpet.
