Meaning:
When we cry over spilt milk we are upset, sad or complaining
over something bad that happened in the past.

EX: Stop complaining about your lost pen ,


there's no use crying over spilt milk.

Meaning:
This expression is used when two people or
things are very similar to each other. They can be
similar in their hobbies, interests, and even in

they are as alike as two peas in a pod.

Meaning:
The action of someone making the unpleasant situation that you
are in even worse, often by reminding you of your failures or faults.

Ex: It's bad enough that he was right, and I was


wrong, but the way he keeps talking about it is just
rubbing salt in the wound.

Meaning:

for themselves.
