Unit of Measurement for Goods Movement
SAP allows you to maintain the multiple unit of
measurement (UOM) for a material.
Stock quantity is managed in the base unit of
measure. So when you buy or sell
a material in a different UOM, the system will
calculate the quantity per the base
UOM and post the issue or receipt accordingly.
