Instant Cold Compress
Cooling an injury like a sprain or
bruise can help to reduce the
swelling and pain.

Scissors
Used for cutting materials such as
sutures, bandages, clothing and any
other materials that need immediate
access.
Disposable Gloves
Used by health care personnel to
prevent the spread of microorganisms
that may potentially cause infection
or illness.

Adhesive Tape
Used directly on skin to hold
wound bandages or other first
aid or medical appliances in
place.
Triangular Bandage
These can be folded into a
sling or can be used to
provide the necessary
support for a broken arm
or joint.
Antiseptic wipes
Used to clean wounds before putting
bandages. Alcohol wipes, on the
other hand, are used to disinfect the
surrounding area of a wound.
Tweezers-
Used for picking up objects too
small to be easily handled with the
human fingers.

Antibiotic Ointment-
Also called Antibiotic Cream.
Used to prevent and treat minor
skin infections caused by small
cuts, scrapes, or burns.
Adhesive Bandages-
Used to protect small
wounds and cuts from
germs, dirt, and water.

Gauze Roll Bandage

Made from cotton gauze. Used
to holding dressings on wounds
in place and usually combined
with Adhesive Tape.

REST
Rest the injured joint to avoid a delay
in healing. Doctors recommend to let
it heal for a day or two.
ICE
Ice the injured joint for about 10 to
20 minutes every four hours to ease
pain and reduce the swelling.
COMPRESS
Reduce swelling and the chance of
internal bleeding by wrapping the
injured joint with an elastic wrap
bandage.
ELEVATE
While resting, icing, and
compressing the injured joint, elevate
