What is Kahoot?
◦ Kahoot is a game-based learning program, that
allows for student, teachers and workers to be
able to answer multiple choice, or true and false
question.
◦ It is designed to make learning and studying fun
◦ You can use it to teach, test knowledge, pretest,
study or simply to have fun!
◦ It is free to use, unless you want to subscribe to
get more features.
How to use
Kahoot
◦ To start off, you must make an account if you
want to create or be the host of a game. You
can make one as a teacher, student, personal
or professional use.
◦ You can then create a Kahoot based on your
lesson or study plan, or you can use a game
that is premade.
How to create a poll or quiz
◦ To create, you will simply select create.
◦ It will then give you the option for a short or long lesson plan (as I am in
the teacher mode).
◦ It will give you several options of what you want to do or accomplish
(shown in the image).
◦ You can then use a premade template or create your own blank poll or
quiz.

◦ For a student to join a game, there will be a
code once the game is launched
◦ The student will then open up play Kahoot
and put the code in.
◦ After they put the code in, they will get to put
their name (or a generated nickname), and
wait for the game to start.
