faster MRI scans for time-sensitive imaging
 Role of Compressive Sensing (CS) in biomedical signal acquisition
and reconstruction

Proposed Solution

 Proposal of a multi-layer basis pursuit framework that combines


objective-based CS reconstructions and deep learning-based
reconstruction
 Implemented Iterative thresholding algorithms, training of a CS-MRI
restoration framework on GPU
 Aftertraining on GPU, The optimized model used to restore images
on machines without GPUs.

Results and Comparisons

 Experimental results on four MRI datasets (Brain and knee)


 Comparison with state-of-the-art frameworks in terms of
convergence, PSNR/SSIM, and restoration efficiency
 With slight increase in number of parameters as compared to the
state of the art, improved results were achieved
