INTRODUCTION

• SEBI stands for securities and exchange board of India.


• Its main function is to stop fraudulent activities of stock market.
• It was established in the year 1988 and given statutory powers on April 12,1992.
• The headquarters is located at Bandra kurla complex,Mumbai.
• It regulates the capital market in India.
