THE WAR
BETWEEN
JESUS
AND
SATAN
 Verse 7. And war broke out in
heaven; Michael and his angels
fought against the dragon. The
dragon and his angels fought back.

Verse 8. but they were defeated, and

there was no longer any place for
them in heaven.

GOD CREATED THE UNIVERSE
WITH LOVE
• He gave people and angels freedom
to choose.
• People can choose to love each
other and to love God.
• They can choose to be mean
to each other and to hate God.
LUCIFER, the
most
important
angel in
heaven, was
the first to
choose not to
believe God!
 EXEKIEL 28 : 13 - 17
• V 13. You were Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone was
your covering, carnelian, chrysolite, and moonstone, beryl, onyx, and
jasper, sapphire, turquoise, and emerald; and worked in gold were
your settings and your engravings. On the day that you were created,
they were prepared.
• V 14. With an anointed cherub as guardian I placed you; you were on
the holy mountain of God; you walked among the stones of fire.
• V 15. You were blameless in your ways from the day that you were
created, until iniquity was found in you.
• V 16. In the abundance of your trade, you were filled with violence,
and you sinned; so I cast you as a profane thing from the mountain of
God, and the guardian cherub drove you out from among the stone of
fire.
• V 17. Your heart was proud because of your beauty; you corrupted
your wisdom for the sake of your splendor. I cast you to the ground; I
 • He liked being important and telling everyone what
to do. But he did not like anyone telling him what to
do. Not even God.

• GOD talked to
Lucifer. He told him
how He loved him. He
also told him that he
was free to choose.
But if he chose hate
instead of love, he
would die.

• Lucifer would not listen. And many of the angels agreed with
him. Lucifer and his angels broke God’s Laws of Love. So, God
could not let them live in heaven anymore.
 And war broke out in
heaven; Michael and his
angels fought against the
dragon. The dragon and his
angels fought back.

 • The Bible says that
there was war in
heaven.
• Jesus threw Lucifer
and his angels out.
• From then on Lucifer
 “But the serpent said to
the woman , You will
not die!”
-Genesis 3 : 4

SATAN TEMPTED ADAM
AND EVE
 • Satan watched as Jesus created Adam and
Eve. He listened when Jesus told them, “You
can eat from any tree in the garden except
this one. If you eat this fruit, you will die.”

• The fruit was not poison. It was a test. Would

Adam and Eve trust God or listen to Satan?

• Satan said to God, “See, no one can keep

Your laws. Either You have to kill everyone or
You have to let everyone do whatever they
want – even sin forever.
JESUS AND HIS FATHER MADE A PLAN

• Jesus would come to earth as a baby and

grow up just like any other person.
• He would teach everyone that they could
trust God, that they would
be happy if they obeyed
His laws of love.
Jesus would die so humans didn’t have to -

• Anyone who believes and trust in Jesus Christ can

live forever just like God planned.
• By becoming a human, Jesus proved that human
beings can keep God’s law of love.
• Jesus proved that God is fair
and right.

• By dying for humans, He

showed how much God really
loves them.
 • When Lucifer chose not to follow God
anymore, he and his angels were
thrown out of heaven.
• As Satan, he tempted Adam and Eve to
doubt God, and sinned too.
• But Jesus fought back by becoming a
human, living a perfect life, and then
dying to pay for our sins.
