Définition of the environment:

 The environment is the natural world around us, including

the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the land we
live on. It includes all living and non-living things that
make up the earth's ecosystems.
Climate change:
 One of the biggest challenges facing the environment today is climate
change, which is caused by the buildup of greenhouse gases in the
atmosphere, primarily carbon dioxide from burning fossil fuels like
coal, oil, and gas. Climate change is leading to rising temperatures,
more extreme weather events like hurricanes and droughts, and rising
sea levels, which are threatening the survival of many plant and
animal species, as well as human communities around the world.
Pollution:
 Another major environmental challenge is pollution. Air pollution
from factories, vehicles, and other sources is a major contributor to
respiratory illnesses and other health problems, while water pollution
from agricultural runoff, industrial waste, and sewage is
contaminating our oceans, rivers, and lakes, harming aquatic life and
making it harder for people to access clean water.
Things to do to help our environment:
 To address these challenges, individuals, businesses, and governments
around the world are working to reduce greenhouse gas emissions,
transition to renewable energy sources, conserve natural resources, and
protect vulnerable ecosystems. This includes efforts to increase energy
efficiency, promote public transportation and active transportation like
biking and walking, and support the development of clean energy
technologies like solar and wind power.

 There are also many things individuals can do to help protect the
environment, such as reducing energy consumption at home, conserving
water, recycling, and supporting environmentally-friendly products and
businesses. By working together, we can help create a more sustainable
future for ourselves and the planet.
