Climate Change The Effects and Consequences

Introduction
The term "climate change" describes the evolution of the planet's climatic circumstances. Numerous internal and
external variables both contribute to this. Over the past few decades, the climatic shift has attracted attention on
a global scale. Additionally, these climatic fluctuations have a variety of effects on earthly life.

However, not many people are interested in finding a real solution for this problem due to it not being so
realistic or essential to look at in (their opinion). Climate change is a risk to our planet on many levels because it
harms animals, destroys the places they live in, and wreaks havoc on people's livelihoods and communities., one
of the main risks of climate change today is the political discord that has been a major problem throughout
history. Therefore it's safe to say that Climate change is the most serious environmental issue facing us.

Due to the media and many different resources, many questions and conspiracy theories are being released on
the subject of climate change which makes it even harder to find a real solution to this problem. Many people
find this problem not so essential due to their living conditions and the consequences of the problem are more of
a long-term result of many actions that humans use as daily practices. This could go back to the human nature of
survival where humans are more threatened by the danger closer to them than the one that is more of a danger in
the far future. However, climate change is a problem that affects all living creatures. That's why we should give
it our full attention and set the actions required to solve this environmental crisis before it makes our earth not
livable for the future generation.

To solve any problem we need to know why it happened in the first place, and what are the everyday practices
that we are unknowingly burning our planet to the ground with. Activities like burning fossil fuels Coal, gas,
and other fossil fuels all contain carbon dioxide that has been "locked away" in the earth for ages1. We release
the carbon dioxide that has been stored in the atmosphere when we remove these from the land and burn them.
Forests absorb and store carbon dioxide, which is removed during deforestation. As a result of their removal,
carbon dioxide builds up more quickly because there are no trees to absorb it. Additionally, when we burn trees,
the carbon they hold is released. Agriculture: Crop planting and animal rearing release a wide range of
greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. The Greenhouse effect and global warming are connected because it is a
positive climate forcing or warming, that result from rising greenhouse gas concentrations in the atmosphere.
The overall warming caused by greenhouse gases that humans have added to the Earth's atmosphere has

increased by 45% between 1990 and 20192. While 30% of the solar energy that reaches our planet is reflected
into space, over 70% of it makes it to the surface of the globe through the atmosphere, where it is absorbed by
the land, oceans, and atmosphere, heating the planet. Invisible infrared light is reflected as heat. While some of
this infrared light travels farther into space, the vast majority—nearly 90%—is absorbed by atmospheric gases,
often referred to as greenhouse gases, and diverted back toward the earth, where it warms the planet even more.

Climate change is an important environmental crisis that gets more complicated every day and it needs
immediate action from the governments to release the harmful practices that are being used which increase the
danger of the situation. However, we might ask ourselves the question what are the actions we could do as
individuals to help decrease the harm of this crisis?
We should; Make climate change policies and agreements such as tax incentives to promote renewable energy
sources and carbon capture and sequestration efforts, Implement clean energy projects like using such as solar,
wind, and thermal, Raise public awareness of climate change forbid tree-cutting and deforestation by raising
awareness and thereby understanding of the effects of climate change on health will facilitate both behavioral
change and societal support for the actions needed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, run climate change
capacity-building initiatives which is the process by which individuals or organizations obtain, improve or retain
the skills, knowledge, tools, equipment or other resources to do their work competently., Ensure the
surroundings are tidy to reduce pollution, preserve our biosphere, protect endangered species, and also help
preserve the earth's natural resources, Water, and other natural resources waste should be reduced by avoiding
the production of trash which is the greatest method to reduce it. Using stuff again whenever possible. For
instance, use a reusable bottle and fill it up at home or at the nearby free drinking water tap instead of
purchasing plastic water bottles and bringing your reusable shopping bags if you're going shopping, Increase the
number of trees in the neighborhood and its surroundings by afforestation, Observing the law and safeguarding
the environment's resources, and reducing the amount of energy we use by generating electricity locally using
renewable and other environmentally acceptable energy sources. Rooftop solar panels, solar water heating, and
small-scale wind generating are among the examples.

In conclusion, climate change is a serious issue that is killing our environment and affecting our health,
infrastructure, and destroying the chance of future generations to live on this planet if we did not take action
there will be a mass extinction of species as a result of the destruction of the fauna and their habitat.
Superstorms, droughts, heat waves, and several effects on the flora of life on our planet would increase in
frequency and intensity, causing serious health problems and sickness. A global food crisis and famine would
probably result from the collapse of agricultural productivity3. Today, climate change is a concern for humans,
and it is people who are responsible for these disputes. Although it is difficult to completely stop global
warming, people can still take steps to lessen and slow it down.
