Loch Ness Monster
 The Loch Ness Monster affectionately known as Nessie, is a creature in
Scottish folklore that is said to inhabit Loch Ness in the Scottish
Highlands. It is often described as large, long-necked, and with one or
more humps protruding from the water. Popular interest and belief in the
creature has varied since it was brought to worldwide attention in 1933.
Evidence of its existence is anecdotal, with a number of disputed
photographs and sonar readings.

POSSIBLE EXPLANATION
Scientists analyzed the DNA they collected in water samples taken from
different locations on the world-famous lake in order to categorize all the
life there. Based on the data they collected, it seems that the idea of a
plesiosaurus does not hold. Based on their samples, there is no shark DNA
either. No catfish DNA either. We can find no evidence of sturgeon. Eels
are abundant in Loch Ness, and they found eel DNA in almost every
location they sampled – lots of them. They cannot rule out the possibility
that there are giant eels in Loch Ness - said Neil Gemel, project leader.
Loch Ness Monster

 The water of the freshwater lake Loch Ness is opaque due to the large
amount of peat in the surrounding land. Its greatest depth is 230 meters
and it is interesting that there is more water in the lake than in all the
lakes of England and Wales combined! The only island is located in the
southwestern part of the lake, 140 meters from the shore. It is an artificial
Island.Cherry Island on which a stone castle was located in the 15th
century, probably used as a safe place during a battle on land.

Opinion
 We think this mystery is not about a big monster but
about a big eel. This mystery is very interesting. We
agree with the opinion of the scientists. It can‘t be a
dinosaur because they‘re extinct.
