1-Accidental Death:
The Institute shall pay the insured amount anytime the Policy Holder dies due to accidental
causes.

 ACCIDENT:
Sudden, violent, fortuitous and unforeseen action of an external agent that causes traumatic bodily
injuries which can be determined by physicians in a sure way.
TOTAL OR PARTIAL PERMANENT DISABILITY DUE TO ACCIDENT: The
Institute shall compensate the percentage of the insured amount corresponding to the
degree of permanent disability in one single payment, based exclusively on the following
concepts of loss of general capacity.

2- Lost of limbs . Maximum amount 10% of accidental death

Amputation of a hand, foot, or permanent lost of vision of one eye.

3-Total or Partial Permanent disability due to accident. Maximum amount 20% of the accidental
death.
Coverage B

 Medical expenses as a result of an accident or


acute disease covered

 ACUTE DISEASE:
Any disease characterized by its sudden outbreak and short duration (no more than one week) during the
validity of the policy.

PRE-EXISTING DISEASE:
It is any disease, injury, either congenital or not, and/or physical disability, and their sequels, suffered
before the start date of the policy

 REPATRIATION OF MORTAL REMAINS: The Institute is


committed to assistance and paid all the expenses, up to $ 3,000
Coverage C: Daily Hospitalization expenses
Coverage D: Trip Cancelation or shortening

Accident, medical emergency or acute illness the results in hospitalization or death of:
a. The Insured or the companion with whom he/she is or will be traveling who is a
resident of the same country as the Insured.
b. The spouse or Live-In Partner, children, father, mother, grandparents, siblings, sons
or daughters in law, grandchildren, fathers or mothers in law and when said person
is a resident of the same country as the Insured.
Coverage E: Trip delay

If departure is delayed by at least twelve (12) hours as of the departure time specified on the
itinerary, weather or mechanical problems with the aircraft or other essential means of
transportation to fulfill the itinerary.
Coverage F: Temporal or permanet lost of Bagage

In the event that baggage is temporarily lost during transportation


only by a regular airline in international flights or marine
transportation with scheduled itineraries.

Permanent loss of baggage:


Once the airline or cruise line have declared and indemnified for
permanent loss of the Insured’s baggage, the Institute will pay for
the accidental loss of baggage, in accordance with the selected
option that is specified in the Insurance Offer.

There is no coverage for lost baggage, if transport age for lost baggage, if
transported by ground transportation.
Coverage G: Passport lost

The Institute will pay the sum of US$100 under all coverage options for the replacement of a passport lost or stolen
outside the country of residence and for each trip.
