Sheikh Ibrahim Niass Al-Tijani (1900-1975) is a prominent Senegalese religious

scholar and spiritual leader, and the founder of the Tijaniyya Order in West
Africa. He was born in the city of Saint-Louis in Senegal and received his early
education in the field of Islam and Sufism.

Sheikh Ibrahim Niass made significant contributions to the spread of Islam and
Sufism in West Africa, particularly in Senegal, Mauritania, and Mali. The
Tijaniyya Order was established by Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohamed AlTijani from
Morocco and is considered one of the prominent Sufi paths in the region. His
religious message focused on unity, tolerance, and peace among people.

Sheikh Ibrahim Niass led an active Tijaniyya movement that aimed to promote
peaceful coexistence and religious tolerance in African communities. He worked
on educating people about Islamic values and promoting love and tolerance
among Muslims and non-Muslims.

Additionally, Sheikh Ibrahim Niass established schools and educational centers to
