COMPONENT
SOURCING
It takes place after the prototype validation
process. This involves sourcing components such as

Invoice:
The invoice is then reconciled with the purchase order and the goods receipt to ensure
that the supplier has been paid correctly.
Payment is made to the supplier according to the agreed payment terms, such as net
30 days or net 60 days.
Record keeping:
All relevant documents, including purchase orders, invoices, and receipts, are kept for
future reference and auditing purposes.

Gurugram - Haryana: This is Hero MotoCorp's largest manufacturing facility, located in Gurugram, Haryana.
The facility has an annual production capacity of around 9 million motorcycles and scooters, making it one of
the largest two-wheeler manufacturing plants in the world.
Dharuhera - Haryana: This manufacturing unit is located in Dharuhera, Haryana, and has an annual
production capacity of around 1.8 million motorcycles and scooters.
Haridwar - Uttarakhand: Hero Motocorp's Haridwar manufacturing unit is located in Uttarakhand and has an
annual production capacity of around 2 million motorcycles and scooters.
Neemrana - Rajasthan: This manufacturing unit is located in Neemrana, Rajasthan, and has an annual
production capacity of around 1.2 million motorcycles and scooters.
Halol - Gujarat: Hero Motocorp's Halol manufacturing unit is located in Gujarat and has an annual production
capacity of around 1.8 million motorcycles and scooters.
Villa Rica - Colombia: This is Hero Motocorp's first manufacturing plant outside India, located in Villa Rica,
Colombia. The facility has an annual production capacity of around 78,000 motorcycles and scooters.

TECHNOLOGIES USED
i3S (Idle Stop-Start System): This technology automatically switches off the engine when the
vehicle is idling, such as at a traffic signal, and turns it on again when the rider engages the
clutch. This helps to save fuel and reduce emissions.
XSens Technology: This technology uses multiple sensors to monitor various parameters,
such as engine oil temperature, ambient temperature, air pressure, and throttle position.
This helps to optimize the engine's performance and improve fuel efficiency.
Auto Sail Technology: This technology allows the vehicle to glide smoothly without the need
to shift gears, improving the rider's comfort and reducing fuel consumption.
