 Reported speech tidak berada di dalam tanda kutip

 Pemakaian kata “that” dipakai sebagai konjungsi antara reporting verb dengan reported speech

 Perubahan pronoun: Pronoun (subject) dan reported speech berubah sesuai dengan pronoun dari reporting
verb atau object (orang) dari reporting verb (bagian pertama dari kalimat). Kadang-kadang bisa tidak
berubah.

e.g.

Intan said, “I buy chocolate today.”

Intan said that she bought chocolate that day
