 Let’s Talk
Good evening colleagues and tutor. This time we are talking
to you about events from my childhood.
When I was a baby, I lived in Barrancas La Guajira, since I
have not always lived here in Maicao. I had a nice
childhood mixed with fun, sad moments and other exciting
ones. Thank God I always had the opportunity to live with
my mother and father until I was 10 years old, then my
parents divorced, however today they have a beautiful
friendship.
■ I remember that there were many children living in
front of my house and I liked to go out and play
with them all the time. Since my mother became a

THAN
single mother, she has had to work a lot, so I took
the opportunity to go out and play while she worked.
■ I loved my years at school, I could make many
friends and tell horror stories during recess hours.
■ I remember that when I was older I had to learn to
cook and help with the housework, the truth is that it
was one of the most beautiful stages of my life.
