 Lithology : dark grey, pure calcitic laminated limestones
at the basal part where it consists of well-
bedded limestone with chert nodules
 Fauna & Age : Brachiopods, Conodonts

Thickness ±4500ft (±1500m)
 Distribution : Central and east Perlis, north Kedah
 Lithology : Red and grey-coloured shale, mudstone and a
variety of poorly sorted argillo-arenaceous
deposits varying from muddy siltstone through
wacke subgreywacke and arkose to feldsphathic
quartzite.
 Fauna & Age : Trilobite, Brachiopods, Gastropods and
Cephalopods
