leading countries of Africa .

traditional and well thought
from younger ages the
importance of their culture

Economy

• Almost all of the country GDP comes from exports

• Ghana's economy is one of the strongest in Africa

• It's national currency is Cedi

• Gold and petroleum are their most valuable resources

crisis

• In 1966 a massive external


debt was accumulated due to
the overthrown of their
president

• In 2002 the world bank and


International monetary fund's
for heavily indebted countries
agreed to forgive Ghana's
debts
Resources

• Ghana has one of the


strongest economies in
Africa

• Most of their GDP comes


from exports

• Ghana is one of the leading


countries in gold exports

Corruption
• Ghana has had a corrupt
government since its
independence

• Ghana had had several


economic crisis due to
corruption

• Most of the corruption comes


from bibrery and illegal
business such as tax evasion
• Child labor is one of the biggest problems in Ghana

• It is seen that child labor is most evident on rural


areas rather than urban areas

Child labor • Child labor has negative effects on the youth.

• Child labor has been associated due to the


competitiveness for a school membership
