Introduction to Pakistan

 Pakistan is a country located in South Asia, bordered by India to the east,


Afghanistan and Iran to the west, China to the north, and the Arabian Sea to
the south.
 Capital: Islamabad
 Significance: Pakistan is a nation known for its rich cultural heritage, diverse
landscapes, and historical significance.

 Pakistan is divided into five provinces and a capital territory, each with its own unique
identity and characteristics.
 Provinces:
 Punjab: Known as the "Land of Five Rivers," with Lahore as its capital.
 Sindh: Home to the bustling metropolis of Karachi, it has a rich cultural and historical
heritage.
 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP): Located in the northwest, with Peshawar as its capital, known
for its rugged terrain and cultural diversity.
 Balochistan: The largest province, known for its vast deserts and natural beauty, with
Quetta as its capital.
 Gilgit-Baltistan: A mountainous region known for its stunning landscapes, with Gilgit as one
of its major cities.
