WHAT DOES VIRTUAL REALITY MEAN AND WHAT

ADVANTAGE DOES IT HAVE?

Virtual Reality is a computer-generated simulation of a

three-dimensional environment with which the user
can interact in a way so close to reality that there is an
almost real feeling that he is present in that virtual
environment.

The use of virtual reality in medicine is a niche field.

We recommend that it be used only where VR is
absolutely needed. We will continue with some
examples.

That, initially. Now, however, the latest
virtual reality headset (Oculus Quest Pro
or 3) adds augmented reality features.

SO HOW DOES VR WORK?

The user will put on his head a special device called Head-Mounted
Display (helmet with inner screens);
He will hold in each hand a special controller, which will help the
user to interact in virtual space;
Instead of these controllers, the user can use their hands-free, they
will be detected and duplicated virtually with the help of special
hand tracking software.

The surgeon training program is based on highly
