What is a goal or target?
- A goal/target is a way to measure whether you have achieved
your aim e.g. your RIT score.

Why is it important we set goals/targets for ourselves?


- Setting goals is vital for measuring our success.
- Tracking and setting our own goals allows us to develop many life
skills such as planning, organizing and time management.
- Setting our own goals motivates us.
- It develops our ability to drive our own learning.
- It helps us to understand our strengths and areas of
development
