Eternal Law

• Is the decree of God that governs all creation.


• The laws which govern the universe and control
the life cycle of everything in existence.
• The plan of divine wisdom as directing all acts
and movements.
Divine Law
• The law of God revealed to people through the Bible,
which Christians call the ‘Word of God’.
• The historical laws of scripture given to us God’s self-
revelation.
• Code of Hammurabi, The Qur’an, The Ten
Commandments
Natural Law
• A theory asserting that certain rights or values are
inherent by virtue of human nature and can be universally
understood through human reason.
• Good is to be done and evil is to be avoided’ which is
some call human nature.
• It is what directs our conscience and if applied with
reason to a situation will lead to the eight outcome.
• Right to life, self-defense, pursuit of happiness.
Human Law

• These are everybody rules that govern our lives from


the legal system at one end.
• An interpretation of natural and divine law.
• Ordinances, Policy, Bill, and Act
• There are sometimes human laws that are contrary to
the divine law and natural law.

self-revelation.
2. This refers to the absence of any physical restraint.
3. No one can know this. It is beyond our human
understanding.
4. This law can be seen by everyone as it doesn’t depend
on revelation but on reason.
5. This freedom refers to using freedom in a manner that
upholds human dignity and goodness.
6. Elements of freedom that refers to the person being
accountable for his/her actions and their consequences.
7. This laws sometimes contradicts the divine law and
natural law.
