What is Noun?
Noun refers to:
1. people
2. places
3. things
Example:
- Michael is a good student
- Melbourne is the best city in Australia
- I want to watch a movie
What is pronoun
A pronouns are words that take the place of nouns.
Sometimes, we do not want to use a noun. So we use a
pronoun.
Example:
1. Mark is in the kitchen. He is cooking
(personal Subject Pronouns: I, You, He, She, it, We, They)
2. Mary doesn’t like me
( Personal Object pronouns: me, you, him, her, it, us, them)
3. Is that David’s car? No, it’s mine
Possessive pronoun : mine, yours, his, hers, ours, theirs
What is Verb
Verb shows an action or an ongoing
condition. It is considered as heart of
sentence.
Example:
- Alex is going home. He loves his home
- Mario drives car to go to his home town
- We played football last weekend
What is Adjective
Adjective modifies or describes noun or
pronouns in a sentence.
Example:
- Tony loves his beautiful daughters. His
daughters also love their caring father.
- Mark is driving a black car
- Barbara has several dogs
What is Adverb
Adverb modify or describe adjectives, verbs, or
other adverbs. It answers the questions When?
Where? How? Or How much?
Example:
- Mark is running quickly
- Jane never drinks coffee
- We will go there tomorrow
