INTRODUCTION
• Two wheelers are used by a greater number of people in the world.
• India is the second largest producers of two wheelers.
• The fuel bikes are increasing more in numbers and the world resulting in global
warming and scarcity of fuel.
• There is an urgent need to use alternative type of bike that are eco friend to
nature.
• The main aim of this step is to know the awareness of electric bike among the
people.
• Electric bikes are mostly emission-free bikes, and the unique proposition of the
manufacturer's is being eco-friendly.
• Electric bikes are different from conventional two-wheelers in certain areas such
as four-stroke engines are replaced by batteries.
• The major e-bike players in the Indian market are Ola Electric, Ather Energy,
Okinawa, Bajaj Auto, Pure EV, TVS etc.
OBJECTIVES
• To study consumer awareness about Electric Bikes
• To spread awareness about E-Bikes
• To research the factors driving consumers to buy Electric Bikes
RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
• Sources for Data: Study is based on primary data collection from the
respondent with the help of questionnaire.
• Place of the Study: Restricted to the state of Goa.
• Sample: The responses were collected from 100 respondent. The
questions in questionnaire were framed basically to find out consumers’
perception towards electric bikes.
• Tool used for data collection: Data has been collected with the help of
questionnaire circulated using Google form.
• Tools and techniques used for data analysis: Data analysis has been
performed using statistical software such as Jamovi using techniques such
as descriptive analysis, frequency analysis, Chi square test, one way
anova parametric.

CONCLUSION
• In India, 76% of the vehicle population is occupied by two wheelers.
• This leads to a vast consumption of petroleum fuels leading to emission of lots of
pollutants.
• E-bikes are a better way and measure to controlling pollution.
• Electric Bike industry is in early stages still in India.
• There is a lot of apprehension about its durability and quality being offered.
• Lack of awareness, regulatory authority, quality issues are some of the biggest
challenges in front of the industry.
• But with ever increasing Petrol prices and high pollution, sooner Electric Bikes are
going to put a serious challenge to the Petrol Bikes.
• Primary focus of the companies shall lie on R&D, improving quality and educating
people.
• Government support in the form of developing the necessary infrastructure and
subsidy to the end customer, there is possibility of Electric Bike Industry is getting
ready for a golden feature.
