What is Orthographic?
● Also known as an orthographic projection, is a drawing in
which a three dimensional object is represented in two
dimensional
● This is done making of the object, views from different angles.

Isometric Projection – all angles
are equal
Dimetric Projection – two angles are
equal
Trimetric Projection – none of angles
are equal
What is Isometric Projection?
• Isometric means “equal in measure” and refers to
the fact that the three receding axes are titled at 30°
Three main types of Isometric drawing;

● Dimetric Projections - two angles are equal


Trimetric Projection – none of
angles are equal
Oblique – use only a set of parallel
lines, but the angle degrees
between then can vary depending
on the artist’s preferences.
