RIGHTS OF SOCIAL WORK

The right of social work is partially outlined. Social work


foremost rights include the right to fulfill its professional
mandates and to live by its values.
A social worker must possess active listening, self-
awareness, social perceptiveness coordination, and
persuasion to fulfill their responsibilities, professional
standards, and ethical adherence, while also being
accountable to clients and society.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF SOCIAL WORK

Social workers are responsible for helping children,


addressing life-threatening issues, and helping people
overcome addictions. They uphold human dignity and
promote social justice, adhering to the United Nations
Universal Declaration of Human Rights. They should act
with integrity, treating people with compassion, empathy,
competence, and respect for their dignity.
ACCOUNTABILITIES OF SOCIAL WORK

Social workers are accountable to clients, colleagues,


employers, professional associations, and the law, adhering
to profession values such as reliability,

confidentiality, cultural competence, and trustworthiness.
Social workers are accountable to professional bodies like
registered, certified, licensed, clinical, and independent
organizations, as well as government agencies and their
laws.
