Introduction

• Company name: Eastern Cost Air Conditioners

• Location: Industrial City in Dammam

• Internship period: 8 weeks


Company’s Background
• Eastern coast Air Conditioners (ECAC) a sector business of Eastern
cost group is a new supplier of air conditioners in the Middle East. It
manufactures and markets a whole range of air conditioners from
Room air conditioners to packaged units to large Chillers for
residential, commercial and industrial applications.
• Eastern cost Air Conditioners was founded in 2000 as one of the
first air conditioning companies to be established in Saudi Arabia.
• With its head office and prime plants in Dammam, Saudi Arabia and
a production facility in Italy, Eastern cost Air Conditioners produces
over 50000 air conditioners per year. It supplies air conditioning
products to over 15 countries across the world-the major markets
are GCC, Middle East.

• Purpose of the project:

1.Reduce the man power needed

2.Improve production rates

3.Reduce the production costs of each AC unit.

• The main object of this project is to save the


electricity costs of the factory and there will be
no delay on the production.

• The internship program was a great opportunity
for me to interact with electrical machines and
how they operate.

• It gave me a better understanding about the


process of manufacturing Air Condetioners.
