III. PROPOSED INNOVATION, INTERVENTION, AND
STRATEGY
IV. ACTION RESEARCH METHODS
a. Participants and/or other sources of Data and
Information
b. Data Gathering Methods

I. CONTEXT AND RATIONALE

• Presents the general description of the

problem or issue
• Explains the need to conduct the AR as a way to
address or improve the situation

• Current Situation
• Baseline Data
• Contextualized
II. ACTION RESEARCH QUESTION

• It should be related to the title and must not include

questions that can be readily answered and are not
necessary in the data analysis.
• There must be one (1) main AR question: Did the
intervention help in solving the identified problem
• Ex. Is there a significant difference between
the scores before and after the intervention?
II. ACTION RESEARCH QUESTION
• It should be related to the title and must not include
questions that can be readily answered and are not
necessary for the data analysis.
Ex. How many students got a score of 75 and below
in Math 7 1st quarter?
• Do not include the demographic profile of students if
it will not be used in the data analysis.
• Ex. What is the demographic profile of the
respondent? - Why do you need to ask?
III. PROPOSED

intervention/innovation/strategy
