What is Quality Management Theory?

-As the name implies, Quality Management is concerned with the

management of service quality. When it comes to project
management, the goal is to achieve the desired level of quality. It is
the act of overseeing all activities and tasks that must be
accomplished to maintain a desired level of excellence.

-Quality management includes the determination of a quality

policy, creating and implementing quality planning and
assurance, and quality control and quality improvement. TQM
requires that all stakeholders in a business work together to
improve processes, products, services and the culture of the
company itself
Stages of Quality Management

• In order to be effective,
quality control
management can be split
down into Four Main
Components: Quality
Planning, Quality
Control, Quality
Assurance and Quality
Improvement.
Quality Planning

Planning is the initial stage in Quality Management. Take

time to figure out what your objectives are and what your
baseline should be. The Quality Plan is created here.
Every plan, including a quality plan, should have a
desired target or goal. The quality management aim
should be clearly stated to all project stakeholders.
