Create a Blog post on The
Psychology of Colour in Advertising
• Copy the table from SLIDE 6 of this slideshow into the beginning of
your blog post. Give a definition of what we mean by the
Psychology of Colour.
• Find THREE print images/advertisements with logos that
demonstrate how the product/company is trying to associate itself
with the ideas suggested by certain colours (used in the
advertisement and the logo) (Refer back to this slideshow to help)
• WRITE an explanation under the image in your blog post (75-100
words each).
• Find ONE TV/web advertisement (audio-visual) which
demonstrates the psychology of colour. Paste the clip into your
blog post and be prepared to explain to the class how colour
works in this advertisement.
