MALE / AC OUTLET
A lightbulb socket, lightbulb holder, light socket, lamp socket or lamp holder is a device which
mechanically supports and provides electrical connections for a compatible electric lamp base.
Sockets allow lamps to be safely and conveniently replaced (re-lamping).
SWITCH
A switch responds to an external force to mechanically change an electric signal. Switches
are used to turn electric circuits ON and OFF and to switch electric circuits. There are single
pole single throw, single pole double throw, double pole single throw, or double pole double
throw.
FUSE
A fuse is an electrical safety device that protects an electric circuit from excessive
electric current. Fuses are destroyed during overload conditions. When reasonable to do
so (and economically sensible), circuit breakers are used instead because they are not
destroyed during overload conditions.

UTILITY BOX
An electrical utility box is typically a rectangular, open-
faced box mounted in a wall. It serves to house an
electrical device, such as an electrical receptacle or
switch or a GFI (ground fault interrupter)
JUNCTION BOX
A junction box is an electrical enclosure that houses one
or more wiring connections. The box protects the
connections, which usually contain vulnerable points such
as wire splices, from environmental conditions and
accidental contact.
ELECTRICAL TAPE
Electrical tape is used primarily for safety reasons to
protect, insulate, and shield a wide assortment of wires
and cables which conduct electricity. It is also known as
thermal insulation or insulating tape, with widespread

FLAT CORD
Flat cables are used in computers and other electrical and
electronic products for internal connections. They consist
of highly stranded, individually-insulated conductors that
are laid parallel and then fused in a flat, flexible ribbon
form.
ELECTRICAL WIRE
An electrical wire is a type of conductor, which is a
material that conducts electricity. In the case of household
wiring, the conductor itself is usually copper or aluminum
(or copper-sheathed aluminum) and is either a solid metal
conductor or stranded wire

FASTENERS
Fasteners are used to create non-permanent joints, that
can be dismantled without damaging the joining objects.
Unlike fasteners; welding, crimping, soldering are
examples of creating permanent joints where the
connected objects cannot be separated without causing any
damage.
