    Treatises of Government”. He exclaimed, “No

    man’s knowledge here can go beyond
    experience.” He proposed a Social Contract
    Theory and the Legitimacy of Government.

    French Intellectual of the Age of
    WRITERS –
    Enlightenment in Europe was Voltaire.
    He captured the imagination of the
    French Public and other European
    countries with his Satirical Writings.
    He was a brilliant Literary Genius, THINKERS AND
    and a Philosopher. He intensely
    questioned the world and the people
    WRITERS –
    lived in it. He was an Epistemologist
    and sought explanations of what, why
    and how things existed.
    He said that it is necessary to
    doubt every ‘fact’ and question its
    THINKERS AND
    validity. His real name is Francois WRITERS –
    Marie Arouet. Voltaire was a writer
    too.
