Hamilton´s dream was to become a Formula 1 driver, so
his father bought him a kart, and in 1993 he started
competing, winning several racer. His father told him
that he would support his career as long as he worked
hard in school.
Hamilton was educated at the John Hernry Newman
School, a catholic secondary school. Along with his
interest in racing . Hamilton said that if Formula 1 hadn´t
worked out for him, he would have been a footballer or
cricketer
