Lewis Hamilton
Lewis Carl Davidson Larbalestier Hamilton is british who was born in January 7, 1985. His parents are
Anthony Hamilton and Carmen Larbalestie. His father decided to called him Lewis because he liked an
American athlete whose name is Carl Lewis. His parents broken their relationship so Lewis Hamilton
was living with his mon until he was twelve years old.
In 1991, his father gave him a remote control car and he started to win many competitions. The
Hamilton’s dream was to be a F1 driver so his father decided to buy a Kart for him.
In 1993, Hamilton participated in a lot of driver competitions which won many of them. Hamilton started
to drive in karts when he was eight years old. His first championship was two years later in 1995 when
he met Ron Dennis, who is McLaren’s boss. Then, in 1997, he accepted a McLaren’s contract which
said that he would be part of F1’s team. Hamilton was a European champion of karts. He also
participated in other categories of driver. He drove in Renault formula, Euro series Formula 3, GP2
Series and Formula 1. He has been driving in Formula 1 since 2007. Hamilton was the youngest
champion in 2008. Then, in 2014, he won his first title with Mercedes. Lewis Hamilton won seven world
championship with Mercedes in 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 202. He was runner-up in 2016 and
2021.
Hamilton has been promoting the worldwide following of Formula 1. He has big followers that are fan
and not fan of sports. That is possible thanks of his style of life, and be part of environmental and social
activism. The magazine Time putted to Hamilton in the top 100 most influential people. Moreover, in
2021, he was appointed a gentleman for the queen Isabel II.
Hamilton was considered as the richest british sportsman. As a matter of fact, he is the highest paid
driver of car in Formula 1. Also, he had a media reception because he said some controversial
comments in his social media. Lewis Hamilton has been attacked for people that are racist. In fact, he
had few accidents of racist in his competition of driver. Nevertheless, he always followed his dream and
now he is considered the best driver or pilot of Formula 1 in the world. In 2020, Lewis Hamilton swore to .
