General: This research seeks to know the effectiveness of the OSHA’s COVID-19
Control and Prevention Guidelines as perceived by the Oilfield Workers in the Petroleum
Industry for the year 2020 - 2021.
Specific: specifically, the purpose of this study is:

● Determine how extensive and effective the implementation of


OSHA’s Guidelines in the Petroleum Industry during the COVID-
19 Pandemic as perceived by the oilfield workers.

● Define if the OSHA’s Guideline is Sufficient and Recommendable.

● Identify other additional controls implemented aside from the


OSHAS’s Guidelines.

● Determine if there is a significant difference in terms of


productivity and safety between the workers who follows the
OSHA’s Guidelines and workers who do not observe it.
HYPOTHESIS
RESEARCH
Null:
OSHA’s COVID-19 Control and Prevention Guidelines do not
affect the overall productivity and safety of oilfield workers.
There is no significant difference in terms of
productivity and safety between oilfield workers who adheres
the guidelines and workers who do not exercise it.

Alternative:
OSHA’s new Control and Prevention Guidelines does affect
the overall productivity and safety as perceived by the Oil
and Gas workers.
