Background as reduce the mortality and morbidity until TB ceases


to be a public health problem in Niger Republic
The Niger Republic, located in West Africa, is a low-income country facing
significant developmental challenges, with a population of over 24 million people
It is among the West African countries with high endemicity of deadly Tuberculosis.
Niger is ranked 161 out of 166 in SDG goals with an overall score of 48.31 out of
100. The incidence rate of Tuberculosis in Niger is about 77 per 100,000 as of the
year 2022. Tahoua is one of the 8 regions in Niger and the fourth largest town with a
population of 117,826.

ACTION PLAN: Key stakeholders involved in the project are


Nigerian National Tuberculosis Control Programme, NGO, and
community leaders. The project will hope to curb the disease following
a successful intervention and a strong partnership is developed

Evaluation: Monitor program performance with


questionnaires distributed to clients and evaluate impact
indicators regularly to assess intervention effectiveness, identify
gaps, and refine strategies for sustained TB control efforts.

CONCLUSION Tuberculosis is a deadly infectious disease that is endemic in Niger Republic. Tahuoa is one of the 8 regions in Niger with high endemicity of deadly Tuberculosis.
Although the incidence rate of the disease is on the decline in Niger however there is a recent multidrug resistance to the first-line medication. With early detection and diagnosis, detailed investigation, treatment,
and prevention the disease can be reduced to its bearest minimum
