WHAT IS ELECTRICITY

 Electricity- Electricity is the flow of

electrical power or charge. It is a secondary
energy source which means that we get it
from the conversion of other sources of
energy, like coal, natural gas, oil, nuclear
power and other natural sources, which are
called primary sources.
What is Circuit Diagram

 Circuit Diagram -(wiring diagram, electrical

diagram, elementary diagram, electronic
schematic) is a graphical representation of an
electrical circuit. A pictorial circuit diagram uses
simple images of components, while a schematic
diagram shows the components and
interconnections of the circuit using
standardized symbolic representations.

 Battery - The car

alternator is a type of
electric generator used
in modern automobiles
to charge the battery
and to power the
electrical system when
its engine is running.

 WIRE - Wires as we
define here are used
for transmission of
electricity or
electrical signals.

 Fuses - The fuse breaks the

circuit if a fault in an
appliance causes too much
current to flow. This
protects the wiring and the
appliance if something goes
wrong. The fuse contains a
piece of wire that melts
easily.

the switches which
aim at closing and
opening the circuits
electronically as
well as
