B2B (business-to-business) lead generation refers to the
process of identifying and attracting potential business
clients who are interested in purchasing industrial
engineering products or services. Industrial engineering
involves optimizing complex systems and processes
within various industries to improve efficiency,
productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
The ABP Process is an annual strategic planning
process for Top Accounts and selected Enterprise/
Commercial Accounts. The process is divided into B2B Lead Generation through Account
three steps. Let’s have a look at the key steps.
Business Plan (ABP) - Scenario from Industrial
Engineering and Entrepreneurship perspective.

Potential Risks Associated with B2B Lead Generation

26
1) Data Bias in AI Tools

When using AI tools to segment audiences

or score leads, there’s a risk of bias.

27
2) Data Accuracy and Integrity

Inaccurate or outdated data can lead to

targeting the wrong prospects or
contacting individuals who are not decision-
makers within their organizations.

28
3) Changing Buyer Preferences

As buyer behavior evolves, companies must

stay attuned to shifting preferences. What
worked in the past may not be effective
today, so continuous adaptation is crucial.

29
4) Content Complexity

Creating overly complex content can hinder

lead generation.

30
5) Competitive Risks

Sharing too much information about

products or services during the lead
generation process can provide
competitors with insights into the
company's strategies, innovations, or
pricing, potentially giving them a
competitive advantage.

31
Risk Mitigation Strategies

1. Diverse Data Sources and Validation

2. Data Management Practices
3. Agility and Buyer Behavior Monitoring
4. Simplified Content Creation
5. Strategic Information Sharing
