The office of the office of the secretary of the Philippines is the head and highest
ranking official of the office of the president and a member of of the cabinet of the Philippines.
Tbhe office holder has been nicknamed as the “little president” due to the nature of the position.
SECRETARY OF AGRARIAN REFORM

He is the lead government agency that holds and implements comprehensive and genuine agrarian
reform which actualizes equitable land distribution, ownership, aagricultural productivity, and tenurial
security for of and with tillers of the land towards the improvement of their quality of life.

MANAGEMENT

He is responsible for the formulation and implementation of the national budget and the
efficient and sound utilization of government funds and revenues to achieve the country’s
development goal.
SECRETARY OF EDUCATION

The Secretary is a member of Cabinet. The current Secretary of Education Is Leonor Briones. Presently its mission is to
provide quality basic education that is equitably accessible to all and lay the foundation for lifelong learning and service for the
common good.

The Philippines’ Department Energy(Filipino;Kagawaran ng Enerhiya), abbreviated as DOE is the executive department of the
Philippine Government responsible for repairing, integrating, coordinating, supervising and controlling all plans, programs, projects and
activities of the Government relative to energy.

The Department is the primary agency responsible for the conversation, management, development and proper use of the country’s environment and

State’s foreign policy. The DFA advices and assists the President in the planning, coordinating and
evaluating the total national effort in the field of foreign relations.

He serves as an expert in their department’s activities and should be ready to disscuss


public health, food safety and welfare programs anytime.

Serves as the government’s prosecution arm and administers the government’s crimes,
prosecuting offenders and overseeing the correctional system.

It promotes gainful employment opportunities and optimizing the development and utilization of the country’s manpower
resources; advancing worker’s welfare by providing for just humane working conditions and terms of employment and
maintaining industrial peace by promoting.

It is tasked with the Responsibility of providing the necessary protection of the state against external and internal threats;
directing, planning and supervising the National Defense Program; Maintaining law and order throughout the country; and
performing other functions as may be provided for by law.

Currently Responsible for the planning, design, construction and maintenance of infrastructure, specially the national highways,
flood control and water resources development system, and other public works in accordance with national development objectives.

The Department of Science and Technology, through the office of the Secretary (DOST-OSEC), Supervises the department,

matters pertaining to Science and technology.

AND DEVELOPMENT

The DSWD is mandated by law to develop, administer and implement comprehensive social welfare programs designed to uplift
the living conditions and empower the disadvantaged children, youth, women, older person with disabilities, families in crisis or at-risk.

The Department of the interior and local Government(DILG) is the executive department responsible for promoting peace and order,
ensuring public safety, and strengthening the capability of local government units to effectively deliver basic services to the citizenry.

He is responsible for the development and regulation of transportation and communication system.

She formulates policies, plans, programs, rules and regulations; reviews and evaluates the
performance of the Tourism Master Plan and advises the president on all matters affecting the tourism
program of the country.
COMISSION ON HIGHER EDUCATION

It promotes relevant, quality higher education, ensuring access to quality higher education, and guaranteeing and protecting
academic freedom for continuing intellectual growth, advancement of learning and research, development of responsible and
effective leadership, education of high level proffessionals, and enrichment of historical and cultural heritage.

It is the premier social and economic development planning and policy coordinating body primarily responsible for
formulating continuing, coordinated and fully integrated social and economic policies, plans and programs.
