Interview Assessments

Valerie Schwegmann
Valerie Schwegmann is a Registered Nurse
currently working at Walnut Grove High
School. She has been in the medical field
for over 19 years. From my interview with
her, I learned about pediatric medicine
and the importance of compassion for
others in her line of work. She is my
mentor this year, and I am excited to work
on the final project with her
Dr. Christian Akem
Dimala
Dr. Dimala is a Cardiology fellow.
In my interview with him, I had
the pleasure of learning about
his journey becoming a
physician and what it takes to
make it in the medical field. He
emphasized the importance of
perseverance and ambition.
Dr. James Wright
Dr. Wright is a Family Medicine
Physician. In my interview with him, I
learned about the education required
to be in his position, and his job duties.
He mentioned working with residents
and teaching them, and his duties
within a clinical setting. I appreciated
his advice for the future about college
and medical school.
Kristina Wynn
Mrs. Wynn is a Registered Nurse,
who also spent a few years working
as a Home Nurse. Today however,
she is a Health Science teacher
dedicated to teach students who
have a passion for the medical field.
In my interview with her, she
discusses many great things about
the Nursing field and how it is
changing.
