Re: Ms. Grace Andleman

Nurse Residency Applicant

To Whom it May Concern:

I have the pleasure of writing this letter of recommendation on behalf of Ms. Grace
Andleman who is a current student of mine at the University of South Florida, College of
Nursing. Grace has achieved high academic marks and is among the top students in her cohort.
She will graduate in May 2023 with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

It was a wonderful experience instructing Ms. Andleman as a student in Health

Assessment (NUR3066) course & lab, Pathophysiology (NUR3125), Complex Health I
(NUR3225) & Complex Health II (NUR4227) courses. She displays an inherent ability to care
for patients and translate didactic knowledge into the laboratory, simulation, and clinical setting.
Grace embodies the role of a clinician, team member, and leader. Ms. Andleman shows maturity,
high emotional intelligence, attention to detail, time management, and the ability to think
critically which are qualities one must possess in a professional nursing role. She displays
leadership and mentorship skills in managing her outstanding academic record while serving as a
B.R.A.I.N. student volunteer. Additionally, she has served her community by volunteering at The
R.I.C.H. House program and as a Calvary Kid’s volunteer for Calvary Community Church.
Grace was placed in a Respiratory Progressive Care Unit at Sarasota Memorial Hospital, where
she has gained valuable experience and developed skills necessary to begin a Nurse Residency
program.

Ms. Andleman & I have had conversations about her future academic & professional
goals including her interest in pediatric & adult nursing. As her instructor and clinical
coordinator, I have discussed roles, scope of practice, and nurse residency opportunities with her
& she was receptive to all information provided. Grace truly wants to improve the health of her
patients and I believe that she is a great candidate for the Nurse Residency program. It is my
professional opinion that Ms. Andleman will be successful in her future professional nursing
endeavors. As such, I believe that Grace Andleman is an ideal candidate and recommend her as
so. Please feel free to contact me should you have any questions relative to this matter.

Respectfully,

Dr. Sean L. Sharp, DC, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, NP-C
